Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the second devlog for project magic!Unfortunately there is not much in this update in terms of under the hood features; however, there has be a big change in terms of visuals. Our lovely little resident, Bean, has received a make over now sporting a new body with a lovely mini bean strapped to their back! That's not all the pause menu has received some attention as well with a label identifying previously unlabeled options. As stated in the previous update, I foresaw the development of Bean's new body taking up some time during this week's dev period and it both has and hasn't? Only taking up about two and half days this week for full implementation and tweaking. So then what about the rest of development this week. Well that has to do to the fact that I have reached a point in development where my current code base is a little hard to manage. This forced me to start cooking up a redesign to some of the core aspects of the game. Bean's core functionality is the first to receive this treatment and will be featured in the next update as it is not ready for this current version of the game.
