Dev Update 5: Combat
Hello... been a while huh. I have had quite an event full few months so sorry for not updating the during those times. Because of that I haven't really had the time or will to work on the project. Though during this month I have had the time to clear my mind and get back to work on this project. With that said some of the things I have worked on over the last few weeks are mostly related to figuring out combat and building a proper framework on the Enemy AI. Due to this focus I decided to branch off into a separate level to perform the test and focus on only the combat. What I got out of it was some code for a lock on camera, a general idea on how I want to design enemy behaviors, and a better understanding on how I want to design characters from a coding stand point. In the upcoming 0.0.7 release of the prototype the game will now have a level selector to allow the player to select which level they would like to try out.
That is all that I have for this month's work and I will continue to give updates as consistently as I can going forward.
